Monstera Houseplants is a small, family-operated propagation and plant business run by Josh in the Lealman / St. Petersburg area of Pinellas County, Florida. With over 13 solid years of hands-on experience growing and propagating Monsteras and other houseplants in Florida’s humid climate, I started this shop to share the tough, resilient plants I’ve come to love — the ones that thrive with the right care and minimal fuss.

I began working with Monsteras back when many people still considered them tricky jungle plants. Through thousands of plants and plenty of trial and error, I’ve learned the common pitfalls (yellowing leaves from nitrogen issues, crispy edges from underwatering, pests in damp conditions) and the simple fixes that make them easy, rewarding houseplants. Whether it’s a classic Monstera deliciosa, a rare variegated variety like Thai Constellation crosses, or easy-care companions like Pothos and Philodendrons, every plant is propagated or hand-selected from our local greenhouse for strong roots, vibrant foliage, and no blemishes.

We also offer premium self-watering pots that I’ve tested myself — perfect for busy households or beginners. Our goal is simple: help you bring beautiful, pet-safe greenery indoors and set you up for long-term success with straightforward care guides and support.
