Shipping Policy

At Monstera Houseplants, we ship live plants from our greenhouse in the St. Petersburg / Lealman area of Florida. We take great care in packaging each plant to ensure it arrives healthy and ready to thrive in your home.

Shipping Methods & Costs

• We ship via USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground (whichever provides the best combination of speed and reliability for live plants).
• Free standard shipping on all orders over $150.
• Orders under $150 ship for a flat rate calculated at checkout (typically $9.99–$19.99 depending on size and destination).
• Tracking is provided for all orders.

Processing Time Orders are processed and shipped within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday). We do not ship on weekends or major holidays.

Live Plant Shipping Notes

• Plants are carefully packaged with moist sphagnum moss or paper, secure wrapping, and protective materials to minimize transit stress. Larger plants are shipped potted when possible.
• Transit time is typically 2–5 business days depending on your location.
• We monitor weather and may delay shipping during extreme temperatures (below 40°F or above 90°F) to protect your plants. You will be notified if a delay occurs.
• We recommend placing your order when local temperatures are moderate (50–80°F) for best results.

Upon Arrival Unpack your plant immediately upon delivery. Remove any wrapping, water thoroughly if the soil is dry, and place in bright indirect light. Allow 48–72 hours for acclimation. Some leaf drop or minor stress is normal during shipping — this is temporary.
