(High Pink) Philodendron Pink Princess Rooted on a Moss Pole | St. Pete Grown

(High Pink) Philodendron Pink Princess Rooted on a Moss Pole | St. Pete Grown

This is a high pink Philodendron Pink Princess already rooted into a moss pole. I grow these in Lealman and St. Petersburg, Florida, and I only ship plants with tight roots and clean leaves. Botanically it is Philodendron erubescens ‘Pink Princess’. The leaves are dark green with real bubblegum pink sectors. High pink means this plant is showing strong variegation now, not a mostly green cutting you hope turns pink later.

The pole is not a prop stuck in at packing. Aerial roots are already working into it. That is how a climbing Pink Princess makes bigger leaves and holds color. You can let one trail, but the plant is built to climb.

Give it bright indirect light. An east window works. A few feet back from south or west glass works. Midday sun burns the pink. Low light pushes new leaves toward green. Water when the top inch or two of mix feels dry. Use a chunky aroid mix with bark and perlite. Keep the moss pole slightly damp so those aerial roots stay attached. Warm rooms and decent humidity help. Florida homes usually have both.

This is a true Pink Princess, not a Pink Congo. Congo color is temporary dye. Princess pink is chimeric variegation that stays if the light is right. If a shoot goes all green, cut back to a pink node. All-pink leaves look pretty and then stall because they have no chlorophyll. You want a mix of green and pink.

It is not pet safe. Like other philodendrons it has calcium oxalate crystals. Keep it away from cats, dogs, and kids who chew.

St. Pete area pickup when listed, including Pinellas Park, Gulfport, Largo, Seminole, Clearwater, and Tampa Bay. Ships nationwide. Send a photo if it sulks after delivery.

FAQ block (paste under the description for Google FAQ-style results and for ChatGPT / Gemini / Perplexity citations)

What is a high pink Philodendron Pink Princess?
A Pink Princess with strong pink sectors on dark green leaves. High pink is a description of the variegation on that plant, not a separate cultivar.

Is this already rooted on the moss pole?
Yes. This listing is a live plant with roots in the pot and aerial roots working into the pole, not a bare cutting.

How do I keep Pink Princess pink?
Bright indirect light, a moist moss pole, and pruning all-green shoots back to a variegated node. Low light fades the pink.

Is Pink Princess the same as Pink Congo?
No. Pink Congo is chemically colored and fades to green. A real Pink Princess keeps genetic pink variegation.

Is Philodendron Pink Princess pet safe?
No. It contains calcium oxalate crystals and can irritate the mouth if chewed.

Where can I buy a Pink Princess moss pole plant near St. Petersburg, Florida?
Monstera Houseplants in Lealman / St. Pete. Local pickup for Pinellas and Tampa Bay when listed. We also ship across the U.S.

Do you ship Pink Princess plants nationwide?
Yes. Plants leave with established roots. Free shipping on orders $150+ follows the same shop policy as our other listings.
