Small Marble Queen Pothos in a 3in Pot
Small Marble Queen Pothos in a 3in Pot
This is a small Marble Queen pothos in a 3in pot, a live rooted starter of Epipremnum aureum Marble Queen. I grow these in Lealman and St. Petersburg, Florida, and I only ship plants with tight roots and clean leaves. The heart-shaped foliage is cream and green marble, not the yellow of Golden pothos and not the heavy white of Snow Queen. It is compact now. Set it on a desk or shelf in St. Pete, Pinellas Park, Gulfport, Largo, Clearwater, Seminole, or a Tampa Bay apartment. Let it trail later or give it a pole once it outgrows this size. We also ship nationwide.
Bright indirect light keeps the cream from fading to green. An east window or a few feet back from south or west glass works. Midday sun burns the white. Low light slows growth and muddies the marble.
Water when the top inch or two feels dry. Let the pot drain. Do not leave it sitting in a saucer. Overwatering is what knocks out most small pothos in 3 inch pots after shipping. Florida summers dry the mix faster. Winter and AC air mean you wait longer.
Use a well draining mix with bark and perlite. Keep it between 65 and 85 F. Humidity around 50 to 60 percent is enough. Pinellas air already helps. Feed lightly in spring and summer.
Not pet safe. Pothos have calcium oxalate crystals. Keep it away from cats, dogs, and kids who chew plants.
I have grown houseplants here for 13 years. Send a photo if it sulks after delivery. St. Pete area pickup when listed.
