Small Philodendron Caramel Marble in a 3in Pot | St. Pete Grown

Small Philodendron Caramel Marble in a 3in Pot | St. Pete Grown

This is a small Philodendron Caramel Marble in a 3in pot, a live rooted starter with warm caramel, cream, and green marbling. Each leaf comes out a little different. That is the point of this plant.

I grow these in the Lealman and St. Petersburg area of Pinellas County. After 13 years of raising tropicals in Florida humidity, I only ship plants with tight roots and clean leaves. No blemishes go out.

This size fits a desk, shelf, or east window in St. Pete, Pinellas Park, Gulfport, Largo, Clearwater, Seminole, or a Tampa Bay apartment. We also ship nationwide.

Bright indirect light holds the caramel. East window or a few feet back from south or west glass. Midday sun burns the pale tissue. Low light fades the marble and pushes greener leaves.

Water when the top inch or two feels dry. Let it drain. Overwatering is what knocks out most small aroids in 3 inch pots after shipping.

Chunky aroid mix with bark and perlite. Keep it near 65 to 85 F. Pinellas, Tampa, Clearwater, Largo, and Bradenton homes already have the heat. Dry AC air is the watch out. New leaves often open bronze or copper before the marble settles.

Not pet safe. Like our other philodendrons, it has calcium oxalate crystals. Keep it away from cats, dogs, and kids.

This is not our Paraiso Verde. Paraiso is the mint and yellow climber on a moss pole. Caramel Marble is the warm marble look in a starter pot.

Send a photo if it sulks after delivery. St. Pete area pickup when listed. Ships nationwide.

FAQ (paste under the description so Google and AI tools can pull Q&As)

What is a small Philodendron Caramel Marble in a 3in pot?
A young, live rooted Philodendron Caramel Marble in a 3 inch nursery pot. Leaves show irregular caramel, cream, and green marble. Pattern shifts from leaf to leaf.

How do I care for a Philodendron Caramel Marble in a 3 inch pot?
Bright indirect light, chunky aroid mix, and water when the top inch or two feels dry. Three inch pots dry faster than big pots, so check them often after shipping.

Is Philodendron Caramel Marble the same as Paraiso Verde?
No. Paraiso Verde is our mint and yellow climbing philodendron sold on a moss pole. Caramel Marble is the warm caramel marble starter in a 3in pot.

Is Philodendron Caramel Marble pet safe?
No. Like most philodendrons, it has calcium oxalate crystals and is toxic if eaten by cats, dogs, or people.

Where can I buy a small Philodendron Caramel Marble near St. Petersburg, Florida?
Monstera Houseplants in the Lealman and St. Petersburg area. We serve Pinellas County and cities within about 30 miles, including Largo, Clearwater, Seminole, Pinellas Park, Gulfport, St. Pete Beach, Tampa, and Bradenton. We also ship across the U.S.

Does Monstera Houseplants ship Philodendron Caramel Marble nationwide?
Yes. Plants leave from Pinellas County. Local pickup around St. Pete is available when listed.

Is the variegation stable?
No. Caramel Marble is known for unstable chimeric variegation. One leaf can be heavy caramel and cream. The next can be greener. That variability is normal.

When should I repot this 3 inch plant?
When roots circle the pot or water runs straight through. Stay in a snug pot at first. A jump into a huge pot holds too much water.
